The Company was formed in 1996 and was comprised of three original Partners (Ryan, Derric and Rod Hicks). Beginning with 2 1 Ton pick-ups and 2 4-car trailers, R&D began hauling for Sovereign Finance and First City Finance (later became Drive Financial). R&D grew it's fleet to more than 12 trucks, trailers, and roll-back transporters serving the four state area of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Our customer base includes finance companies, dealerships and auto auctions. The Company has expanded its services to include a brokering  company, R&D Transport Specialists. Additionally, R&D is now successfully moving dry freight and containers and is currently seeking to expand it's fleet of company trucks and Owner Operators. With these additions, the company is able to move more vehicles, freight and containers. All companies under R&D comply with all federal, state and local transportation laws governing this industry as well as maintaining full insurance as required by those agencies.

R&D is currently evolving in to a logistics company with the demands placed on it by its customers. We are currently transporting 800 to 1,000 vehicles 150 truck loads of freight and 120 containers per month.
